Our aim is to offer worship that is accessible, exciting and helps people connect with God.
We are passionate about telling the story of God and how he connects with our lives and all the stuff that we encounter.
8.00 am – Said Eucharist
This is a simple said Eucharistic service which lasts about 40 minutes with an entertaining and informative sermon but no hymns. It is quieter and more reflective than the 9.45am service.
9.45 am – Sung Eucharist
This is our largest Sunday service with music lead by the organist and a robed choir, entertaining and informative sermons on the gospels and Christian doctrine, and refreshments served afterwards. We have a full Children’s ministry programme at this service with a Crèche for the very young and Sunday Saints for 4-10 year olds.
11.45am – Ssh! Free service on the Second Sunday of the month
For all the family, children, grandparents, friends. Lots of opportunity to join in and music from our band, Westonlife. Prosecco, soft drinks and nibbles after the service.
6.30pm – Choral Evensong every 3rd Sunday (except for December and August)
Celebrated according to the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, Choral Evensong has a dignity and beauty that goes hand in hand with English churches and cathedrals. Whether it is heard on a summer’s evening or in the depths of winter, this simple service reaches out across the centuries and gives you some of the best food for the soul that you can get, no matter if you are religious or not. The best of traditional Anglican choral music is sung by our superb Choir.
9.00 am – Morning Prayer
This is said in the Lady Chapel at 9am every morning except for Sundays. All are welcome to join in this simple reflective start to the day.
10.30 am – Said Eucharist
A said service with an opportunity for coffee and a chat afterwards.
10.00 am – SmALL SAINTS (During term time only)
A service especially for the needs of younger children, who sing, play musical instruments, listen to stories, say prayers and join in an activity. Coffee, juice and biscuits are served in the church hall afterwards, giving parents and carers an opportunity to socialise while the children play on a soft mat with toys.
